Partnerships

Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers is working in partnership to provide advice on a range of issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers.

We work in collaboration with many different agencies, referring service users to other organisations so that they can receive the necessary higher level professional advice.

The following agencies currently provide outreach services on site at the day centres:

  • The Migrant Resource Centre
  • Citizen’s Advice Bureau
  • Refugee Health Team LSL – Lambeth Community Health
  • Start Team, SLAM
  • Southwark Refugee Communities Forum

Please refer to Advice & Advocacy for further information.

Working together ensures:

  • Services for refugees and asylum seekers in Southwark are provided in a holistic way
  • Effective cross referral between agencies for the benefit of the target group
  • We are more effective in raising issues of concern effecting asylum seekers and refugees at local and national level
