Global Action Plan held a free
'green issues' workshop for us
on
13th March 2007
Staff, volunteers and MC members were invited to discuss how each individual
can contribute
- at home (low energy light bulbs, recyling, reduce
water use, etc),
- at work (reduce paper use, recycle paper, return
ink cartridges to manufacturer, make sure all electrical equipment is turned off outside office hours and no PCs etc are left
on stand-by, etc.) and
- in the community (awareness raising, etc.).
We are also looking at how SDCAS, as an organisation, can operate
more environmentally friendly.
