Each centre has advice sessions running in the afternoons. Advice is provided by our Centre Workers, Mental Health Workers and Volunteers and also by advocates from some of our Partner agencies.Each centre has advice sessions running in the afternoons.
Refugee Health Team LSL- Lambeth Community Health
The PCT Refugee Health team have a number advocates in our centres.
An Access Worker attends the Copleston Centre every other week and Crossway weekly. A nurse alternates weeks between Peckham Settlement and Crossway. The weeks the nurse is not at Crossway we have an alternative Therapist who provides a massage service for our clients.
The Citizen’s Advice Bureau
We have an advocate from the CAB who alternates between the Copleston Centre and Peckham Settlement and attends Crossway every week.
The Migrant Resource Centre
Someone from MRC is at the Copleston Centre every other week.
START – SLAM
Workers from these teams visit our centre in order to meet with their clients but only attend for specific, pre-arranged appointments.
Southwark Refugee Communities Forum
The SRCF occasionally help us to organise events at our centres. They are usually involved in our celebrations for Black History Month amongst other things.
